About the Patriot Academy
The National Guard Patriot Academy was a pilot program of the National Guard Bureau that gave qualified recruits who have not finished high school an opportunity to join the National Guard, earn their diploma, and give back to the community. The Patriot Academy pilot program was closed January 12, 2013.
Visiting the Patriot Academy
The Patriot Academy was located on the Muscatatuck Urban Training Complex in Butlerville, Indiana; located roughly an hour away from Louisville, Cincinnati and an hour and 45 minutes from Indianapolis. As part of preparing for the challenges ahead, recruits could use tools like the ACFT Calculator to track their physical readiness.
